For their first-ever physical retail experience in Hong Kong, MATCHESFASHION presents their gifting pop-up at BELOWGROUND.
Inspired by 5 Carlos Place – the London-based home of MATCHESFASHION and the brand’s iconic marble boxes, Hong Kong-based multi-disciplinary studio EDITECTURE creates a welcoming space that combines cosy opulence with architectural surrealism. The space is designed to reimagine the experience of opening the iconic MATCHESFASHION box and recreating the unboxing and gifting experience for the holiday season.
Featured in the space is a curation of holiday gifts and exclusive products from Totême, The Elder Statesman, Saunders, Bode, Wales Bonner, RAEY, Anissa Kermiche, Studio Nicholson and many more. In addition, the gifting pop-up will host a series of cultural activations that includes creating your own MATCHESFASHION bauble, crystal healing workshops and creating your own version of a festive matcha drink.
For the first time, customers will be able to purchase directly from store, as well as engage with the shopping team to place orders on the spot.
