BELOWGROUND is proud to present its latest Brand-In-Residence: SAINT MICHAEL. Founded by Cali Thornhill Dewitt and Yuta Hosokawa, Japanese brand SAINT MICHAEL unveils their second collection featuring an updated branding direction with a focus on the “SAINT” logo graphic. The label also continues to expand on vintage inspired pieces with graphic imagery based on religious and pop culture references.

Alongside the main collection, SAINT MICHAEL collaborates with Tremaine Emory’s Denim Tears on the ‘Saint Tears’ capsule collection. The collection features pieces that infuse Americana influences with Saint Michael’s signature distressed detailing.

Inspired by the brand’s official SS21 lookbook featuring abandoned buildings and sprawling vines, BELOWGROUND has created a pop-up space designed for SAINT MICHAEL’s residency. The space features a large centrepiece of melted wax intertwined with plants, moss and rocks, echoing the recurring religious and spiritual undercurrents in the brand’s design and aesthetic.

The SAINT MICHAEL 2021 Spring/Summer Collection including “Saint Tears” capsule collection will be available at BELOWGROUND till May 10th 2021.
