Following on from several solo exhibitions, Hong Kong-based artist Kila Cheung presents his inaugural art book, ”Rambler“ with an exclusive launch event at BELOWGROUND, hosted by Quiet Gallery.
With painting and sculpture as his chosen media, the artist explores the themes of childishness, curiosity and the courage to break rules and dreams through his works. “Rambler” documents Cheung’s creations all the way through to 2023, giving readers full immersion into his brilliant universe. The book also features a preface written by renowned Japanese artist Nara Yoshimoto.
To celebrate the release of “Rambler”, special book signing will be held by the artist on 20th January from 3:00-5:00pm. New works and past vinyl toys will also be available for purchase at Quiet Gallery throughout the weekend.
The launch event for “Rambler” will be held at BELOWGROUND from 20 January to 21 January, 2024.
