International fashion brand sacai and workwear pioneer Carhartt WIP debut their exclusive collaboration with a pop-up store at BELOWGROUND from 8 September, 2023 until 11 September, 2023.
Forming part of the sacai man 2023 Autumn & Winter and sacai woman 2023 Autumn collection, the sacai x Carhartt WIP capsule features a range of designs for all genders. Drawn by the role of workwear in the blockbuster Interstellar – part of the inspiration behind the main collection – designer Chitose Abe elevates the uniform staple through her signature hybridisation techniques.
Tapping into Carhatt WIP’s iconic workwear silhouettes and signature duck canvas, sacai blends these elements with its trademark nylon twill fabrics and knit techniques.
Other items in the collection add to the layering effect, through a series of hoodies, t-shirts, trousers and skirts in a palette of black, light blue and beige. Statement accessories round out the look with utility belts and jewellery.
