A new SCENE by ICE FIRE pop-up opens at BELOWGROUND, bringing together an
exclusive collaboration between Japanese clothing brand SCENE and ICE FIRE, the Hong-Kong based select store.
Founded in 1976 by Kenkai Ishizu, SCENE is renowned for its Ivy League and collegiate inspired apparel, notably its signature t-shirt and baseball jackets, whilst ICE FIRE is a Hong Kong-based select shop founded by Hiroshi Yanahida that offers an exemplary selection of timeless American classics.
To celebrate the partnership, the exhibition showcases a new series of designs that was produced in collaboration with local fashion designer and textile artist Sonic Lam. 10 one-of-a-kind SCENE baseball jackets were made using Lam’s unique patchwork aesthetic that employ various recycled materials and traditional fabrics to showcase the brand’s timeless style to the audience.
