Celebrating British style and the joy of the journey, British heritage brand, Barbour and Brompton Bicycle launches their second collaboration with a pop-up store at BELOWGROUND in Hong Kong.
Drawing upon the brands’ shared legacy of British manufacturing and spirit of exploring the outdoors, the new collection features a series of jackets, t-shirts, bags and a special-edition bike. Engineered towards the urban cycling enthusiast, the iconic Barbour waxed jacket is reimagined with additional technical details including reflective panels and bright colours that can be worn safely while cycling and then cleverly concealed for rest of the day.
Additional items include a series of T-shirts featuring cycling illustrations by artist and illustrator Fei Wang, aka Mr Slowboy, presented in navy, white and grey colourways and a selection of bags in the classic Barbour fabric that are designed to fit perfectly on the Brompton.
Made to take you on new journeys, the Special Edition C Line Explore Folding Bike forms the centrepiece of the collaboration, rendered in an Amble Sands Gloss finish that is inspired by the stretch of coastline near Barbour’s headquarters in South Shields, England, along with a custom-serial plate and edition-specific gold decals.
