Quiet Gallery is pleased to present the highly anticipated solo exhibition ‘Lines’ by the internationally renowned artist Mr Katsuya Terada. A multi-talented creative artist who is active in the fields of illustration, manga, video games and anime character design.
Terada’s artistic style is unique, encompassing a wide range of subject: Machines, girls and monstrous beast are among the most common motifs in his oeuvre. His highly original mode of expression draws inspiration from Japan’s unique line art and manga traditions, while also incorporating elements from Western cultural influences, thereby creating a cross- cultural visual language.
The exhibition showcases a series of new works with the artist visiting Hong Kong to perform live paintings and conducting autograph session. Viewers may sense the profound wisdom and abundant vitality hidden behind the lines when appreciating these works.
” 線 ” is on show at Quiet Gallery from 29 June to 21 July 2024.
